Del Oro High School – Agriculture Mechanics Program
The grant money will be used to purchase metal and wood for student projects. The monies will also be used to purchase items needed for the Ag Mechanics team. The main portion of the grant will provide an adequate housing facility for the poultry, including wire underground to prevent predators from breaching the housing facility. Housing will include an automatic door with a timer and nesting boxes that roll eggs out after being laid, preventing damage to the eggs from the hens.
Independence High School – FFA Program

Kern Valley High School – FFA Program
This grant will be used to purchase supplies to support the students who are interested in growing our beef cattle SAE project. These supplies include a scale that is necessary for weighing beef cattle projects weekly to ensure they are receiving their proper nutritional needs and gaining weight appropriately. The other materials including stall dividers, panels, mats, and chute pads are necessary for the daily care and maintenance of beef cattle. This equipment can also be used at all livestock expos where students can market their projects and gain sponsors and buyers to assist in their financial risk.
Kern Valley High School – Garden Project
The grant money will be used to purchase supplies to build garden beds that are accessible for all Kern Valley High School Students. We need lumber, concrete, weed control fabric, irrigation supplies, soil, and screws.
Mira Monte High School – FFA Program

North High School FFA Program

Shafter High School – Floral Program
The grant funds will finance a field trip for students to the LA Flower Market and Botanical Gardens at Dodger Stadium, covering tour tickets and lunch expenses to ensure accessibility for all students, regardless of financial constraints. Additionally, the grant will facilitate the integration of Details software into our floral classes, enriching our curriculum and providing enhanced learning experiences for students. This software is also recommended by the American Institute of Design so this is software students could see in industry if they decide to become a florist.
